Frequently Asked Questions

About the Products

Q: What kind of leather do you use? We use premium genuine leather selected for strength, flexibility, and natural grain. For embossed styles, the texture — crocodile, python, ostrich — is professionally pressed into the hide. The result is deep, lasting texture that doesn't peel or fade.

Q: Are the exotic textures real animal skin? No. Our crocodile, python, and ostrich patterns are embossed onto genuine leather. This gives you the look and feel of exotic leather without the ethical or legal concerns around protected species.

Q: Will my jacket look exactly like the photos? Very close, but not identical — and that's intentional. Because each piece is handcrafted individually, there will be natural variations in grain, tone, and texture. These are not defects. They are proof that your jacket is genuinely handmade, not factory-produced.

Ordering & Sizing

Q: How do I know what size to order? We have separate sizing guides for men and women available on the site. If you're between sizes or have specific measurements, contact us before ordering and we'll recommend the best fit.

Q: Can I request a custom size or design? Yes. We offer custom sizing and can work with specific measurements. For custom design requests — colors, patterns, or modifications — contact us directly before placing your order so we can discuss what's possible.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? Because production begins shortly after your order is placed, changes or cancellations must be requested within 24 hours. After that window your piece may already be in production. Contact us immediately if you need to make a change.

About the Brand

Q: Where are your products made? All of our jackets and boots are handcrafted in León, Guanajuato, Mexico — one of the world's most respected leather-working regions with centuries of tradition in the craft.

Q: How is Bring The Leather different from other leather brands? We don't mass-produce. Every piece is made to order by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. You're not buying off a rack — you're buying a piece built specifically for you, with materials and craftsmanship that improve with time.

Q: How do I care for my leather jacket or boots? Keep leather away from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Use a leather conditioner every few months to maintain suppleness. Store in a cool dry place — on a hanger for jackets. With proper care your piece will last decades and develop a natural patina that makes it uniquely yours.
